Downtown Chandler Fine Art & Wine Festival
The Downtown Chandler Community Partnership (DCCP) is pleased to announce the “Downtown Chandler Fine Art & Wine Festival” is coming to Dr. A.J. Chandler Park West in Downtown Chandler on February 18-20, 2022, from 10 a.m. – 5 p.m., in partnership with the Thunderbird Artists.
The Fine Arts & Wine Festival features 80+ juried artists specializing in sensational oil paintings, life-size bronzes, luminous glass sculptures, pottery, metal creations, one of a kind jewelry, photography and mixed-media sculptures.
The event will also include live music and first-class wine tastings from notable wines found in regions of Germany, France, Italy, Chile, Australia and, of course, Arizona.
“We are excited to bring such a high-caliber event to Downtown Chandler,” said DCCP Executive Director Mary Murphy-Bessler. “Thunderbird Artists is the leading producer of award-winning fine art and wine festivals in the Southwest and it’s sure to be a memorable event for all.”
FEATURED ARTIST: Glass
sculptor, Nadine Booth. Nadine has developed a self-taught fused glass
technique and creates stunning one-of-a-kind naturescapes.
FEATURED ENTERTAINMENT: Soul Groove, a Motown, R&B, jazz, and pop band singing multi-genre
standards from yesterday and today, from Aretha Franklin to Rhianna, from Ella Fitzgerald to Eric Clapton.
Other musicians include Vibhas Kendzia and Henry Molder.
FOOD VENDORS: Celebrated local confectionary Carolina Chocolates, with founder Lisa Toon selling
specialized spiced chocolate, like her grandmother (Carolina) used to make. Mr Nelson will have his gourmet
chocolate chip cookies, made fresh daily, while food trucks will serve delectable edibles.
Admission is $3 per person. Attendees will be able to shop and eat at the many independent businesses in the downtown as they come and go from the festival. Free parking is available in the parking garages in the downtown area.
